Runtime code binds personal connections to the authenticated requester. Another teammate’s message cannot authorize access through that person’s personal connection.

A shared conversation should not silently become a shared personal account. ChannelGate distinguishes the requesting person’s connections from the channel’s shared connections and its own environment credentials.

Shared channel connections
Use a channel connection for shared work. In Personal connection mode, the shared identity may fall back to the configured organization connection.
Channel environment secrets
Configure service credentials through a write-only interface. Listings show metadata, never secret values; there is no administration reveal path for these secrets.
Rotation and output filtering
Changed channel secrets retire incompatible warm processes. Known secret values are redacted from replies, live output and background results.

At execution, ChannelGate resolves the authenticated requester’s personal connection and provides it separately from approved shared connections. A request in chat cannot grant access to another user’s personal connection.
Authenticate the requester
Personal connection ownership comes from the authenticated request identity, not a name or permission claim in the message.
Resolve the permitted connections
Runtime code supplies that requester’s personal connection and any configured shared channel or organization connection. If the personal identity is untrusted, no personal connection is supplied.
Apply the action policy
Tool and approval policies govern actions through the supplied connections. Admin access can enable review of permitted workspaces; it does not switch the requester to another user’s personal connection.
